Hydrafacial for Rosacea

Facial redness is a common skin condition known as rosacea and can be triggered for all sorts of reasons, with both environmental and genetic factors and lifestyle choices e.g. excessive drinking, working outdoors, sun damage and smoking having an influence.

Some people may have rosacea that flare-ups every now and again, while for other rosacea sufferers, it may have a more permanent place on their face leading them to feel self-conscious and seek treatment.

A Hydrafacial is a great way to manage rosacea, along with improving other skin concerns via a deep clean and powerful extraction to remove debris. HydraFacials are suitable for most skin types.

How Does Hydrafacial Treat Rosacea?

In a six-step process, a Hydrafacial treatment will:

  • Detox: Uses lymphatic drainage to improve circulation and eliminate toxins

  • Deep Cleansing: Gentle exfoliation uncovers a new layer of skin

  • Extract and Hydrate: Painless yet powerful suction removes debris from pores and skin is nourished with intense moisturisers and hydrating serums

  • Glycolic and Salicylic Acid Peel: Vacuum suction and vortex technology push the acid peel into the deeper layers of the skin. Glycolic Acid brightens and sloughs off dead skin cells, whilst Salicylic Acid unclogs clogged pores

  • Fuse and Protect: Skin is saturated with antioxidants and peptides to maximise hydration and make skin glow

  • Rejuvenate: Red and infrared LED light is used to reduce redness and stimulate collagen

Specially-designed Solutions can also be added to your treatment, specifically to target redness/rosacea and leave you with a calm and even skin tone.

How Effective Is Hydrafacial Treatment for Rosacea?

Hydrafacial can really make a difference to rosacea, however complete resolution will depend on severity.

The patented Vortex delivery system used also allows for deeper exfoliation in less time, making it a really efficient treatment option!

Your practitioner will create a personalised treatment plan for you, which may involve additional treatments for the most transformative results.

How Often Should I Have HydraFacials for My Rosacea?

While redness will likely be reduced after just one treatment of Hydrafacial, personalised treatment plans are important if you want to see the best results.

To see optimal results three to six sessions are encouraged monthly. Maintenance treatments usually will ensure an ongoing reduction in redness.

Of course, maintaining skin health in between Hydrafacial treatments is imperative to maintain radiant skin. Daily sunscreen is a must, as is cleansing. Exfoliating once a week will keep skin fresh, while a healthy diet and good hydration go a long way. As you’d expect, smoking is a big no-no! Moisturing is not recommended moisturising for rosacea as you need to be using products specifically made for controlling rosacea (not for sensitive skin which is a mistake a lot of people make)

How Much Will Hydrafacial for Rosacea Cost?

Usually £95-£220, depending on your location and the experience of your practitioner. Courses of Hydrafacial will generally work out cheaper, speak to your practitioner who will be able to come up with a skin health treatment plan for you.

This generally depends on your location; London prices can be higher for example, and the experience of your practitioner.

There are usually a few deals, so do your research before booking!
