Answer: Hi Hannah.
Many thanks for your message.
Botox can be administered into the masseter muscle into the face which some patients have found it gives them relief from conditions such as TMJ and teeth grinding.
This would be performed by our Medical Director, Dr Grant. A consultation is required initially to ensure your suitability for the treatment and should you wish to proceed, treatment can be performed within this same appointment.
Please contact us directly should you have any further questions or wish to book a consultation with Dr Grant.
Kind regards,

Answer: Hi Hannah, thanks for your enquiry. The first thing to do is to make sure you have seen your dentist. They need to check out your dental situation first and finding a dental practitioner that offers Botox is probably your best route of action. Although I do offer this treatment in this area it is more for the cosmetic situation where the massager muscle is enlarged through grinding of the teeth. I hope this helps

Sarah

Answer: Thank you for your enquiry.

Bruxism is more commonly known as teeth grinding or clenching of the jaw. The cause may not be known but it can have a significant effect on your appearance such as a squaring of the jaw and can also cause other unwanted side effects including jaw and facial pain; worn and/or broken teeth; headaches and problems sleeping.
The use of BOTOX® for this condition works by relaxing the overactive jaw muscles, this relieves the pressure on the jaw and teeth. Because Bruxism or teeth grinding can become a habit after a long period of time, BOTOX® will help to relax the muscles, breaking the habit.
The procedure of having BOTOX® for bruxism is quick and fairly painless, it takes around 10-15 minutes and the effects will last from 4 to 6 months at which point the treatment can be repeated. We recommend treatment to be repeated every three months to enhance the long-term effects.
Prices for BOTOX® for bruxism start from £300, a full personal quote will be given to you during a complimentary consultation, where you will be fully assessed.
Our clinic is open 6 days a week and our opening times are as follows:

Monday to Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Please let me know if you have any other questions or to arrange your complimentary consultation.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Lauren Taylor
