Evolus provides BAMAN with an educational grant to support nurse practitioners to strengthen their professional autonomy and drive excellence in patient care in 2025
Evolus and the British Association of Medical Aesthetics Nurses (BAMAN, was BACN) are delighted to announce grant support for a strategic BAMAN initiative in 2025.
Evolus are providing BAMAN with an unrestricted educational grant to support nurses who are planning to undertake further education in 2025 and to advance their consultation and prescribing skills.
“We are thrilled to be part of a new BAMAN initiative to support twenty nurses to advance both their professional autonomy and the quality of patient care,” said Dr Flavio Azank, Head of Medical Affairs at Evolus International. “Evolus is pleased to be able to support BAMAN as part of their broader mission to raise standards within medical aesthetics across the UK.’’
This grant aligns with Evolus’ commitment to advancing professional education in aesthetic medicine. By strengthening the expertise of aesthetic nurses, this BAMAN initiative contributes to the sustainability of the profession, ultimately benefiting patients and the wider aesthetic community.
“This program is a pivotal step in the evolution of aesthetic medicine nursing; strengthening nurse practitioner clinical independence, and future-proofing the profession,’’ comments Rachel Goddard, Chair of the Education and Training Committee at the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN). “These grants from Evolus will help BAMAN nurses make informed, patient-centred decisions without the need for remote prescribing. Encouraging more nurses to gain their independent nurse prescriber qualification is a strategic pillar for BAMAN in 2025. This is about building a sustainable and progressive future for nursing in the aesthetic medicine sector.”
