Natura Bissé has announced its formal entry into the professional medical aesthetics channel in the UK and Ireland, with its first channel-specific range set to launch this September through Exclusive Beauty Ltd.

Backed by pharmaceutical-standard manufacturing, more than four decades of formulation science and a growing presence among UK aesthetic practitioners, the Barcelona-born luxury skincare brand says its latest move has been developed specifically with the needs of aesthetic clinics in mind.

Founded in Barcelona in 1979, Natura Bissé has built an international reputation for luxury skincare and professional treatment protocols. Its move into the medical aesthetics channel represents an expansion of its existing professional focus.

Why is Natura Bissé entering medical aesthetics?

The UK medical aesthetics sector has experienced significant growth in recent years, creating an increasingly diverse professional landscape and greater focus on the products used before and after aesthetic procedures.

A University College London study published in February 2026 mapped 19,701 aesthetic practitioners across 5,589 clinics nationwide, representing a 437% increase in practitioner numbers since 2023.¹

As the sector continues to develop, preparation and recovery are increasingly viewed as important elements of the overall patient journey, alongside the procedure itself.

Natura Bissé says its new channel-specific range has been developed for this environment, with a focus on repair and recovery for aesthetic patients.

Natura Bissé already has a presence in UK aesthetic clinics

Although this is the brand's first formal entry into the UK and Ireland medical aesthetics channel, Natura Bissé is not entirely new to the UK aesthetics market.

Its Inhibit collection is already available in a growing number of UK clinics, providing the brand with an existing presence among aesthetic practitioners.

The Inhibit collection has been developed around the three facial thirds commonly referenced in aesthetic medicine, with specific technologies designed to address concerns associated with the upper, middle and lower thirds of the face.

Its flagship formula incorporates biomimetic collagen IV fragments alongside red algae sourced from Brittany, France.

According to Natura Bissé, an ex vivo test showed a 53.6% increase in the dermo-epidermal junction index after 72 hours

In a separate 28-day study, the majority of participants reported firmer, less visibly wrinkled and more plumped-looking skin.³

The brand says this combination of pharmaceutical-standard manufacturing and formulation science underpins its move into a channel where clinical standards and evidence are increasingly important considerations.

Pharmaceutical-standard manufacturing

Natura Bissé says every formulation is conceived, tested and produced at its own Factory-House in Barcelona's Synchrotron Park.

The facility holds GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification and ISO 9001:2000 certification, and meets FDA manufacturing standards for the pharmaceutical industry.

According to the brand, this manufacturing approach provides a foundation for its move into medical aesthetics, where product development, manufacturing standards and evidence are increasingly scrutinised.

Research into skin and wellbeing

Natura Bissé's research extends beyond its manufacturing processes and skincare formulations.

Since 2016, the brand has worked with neuroscience research company Starlab and the University of Murcia to investigate the effects of touch and professional treatments on wellbeing.

In 2023, the company's most extensive study to date recorded more than 54 hours of EEG and ECG activity, alongside cortisol and oxytocin biomarker sampling and VISIA skin analysis. The results were processed using a dedicated AI-based wellbeing algorithm.

Natura Bissé says the study found that participants' wellbeing improved by nearly 70% following a single treatment. The findings were presented at the IFSCC Congress in Barcelona, one of the major international gatherings for cosmetic chemists.⁴

For a brand entering a medical aesthetics environment where evidence and substantiation are increasingly important, the research forms part of Natura Bissé's wider clinical positioning.

More than four decades of professional skincare expertise

The move into medical aesthetics represents an evolution of Natura Bissé's existing professional heritage rather than a departure from it.

The company has spent more than four decades developing skincare products and treatment protocols in collaboration with professional aestheticians.

Its formulation history includes the development of a high-concentration glycolic peel in 1993, at a time when relatively few professional skincare brands were working with exfoliating acids at that strength.

This longstanding relationship with professional skincare provides the foundation for the brand's latest move into medical aesthetics.

“Recovery should be treated as part of the result”

Debbie Codron Merdjan, Managing Director, Exclusive Beauty Distribution, said:

“We are entering medical aesthetics with respect for the clinical expertise already within the channel, and with a clear view of where Natura Bissé can add value. Aesthetic care does not end when the procedure is complete. Preparation, comfort and the patient’s recovery experience all matter, and we believe recovery should be treated as part of the result.”

The comments reflect the brand's focus on the wider patient journey, including preparation, comfort and recovery alongside the aesthetic procedure itself.

What’s next for Natura Bissé in the UK and Ireland?

The UK and Ireland launch will prioritise professional education, appropriate integration within clinic pathways and meaningful dialogue with practitioners.

Natura Bissé will also invite a selected group of medical aesthetics professionals to independently evaluate its first channel-specific range in real-world settings. The company says participants will provide structured and honest feedback without any obligation to endorse the products.

The reformulated range has been developed specifically to support repair and recovery for aesthetic patients and will be introduced through selected UK and Irish practitioners this September.

A separate release will provide further details about the system, its technologies, clinical testing and availability.

With its combination of established professional skincare expertise, pharmaceutical-standard manufacturing and a growing presence among UK aesthetic practitioners, Natura Bissé's move into the medical aesthetics channel represents a significant new development for the brand in the UK and Ireland.
