Question: Laser resurfacing for acne scars

Hi

I’ve recently have 2 laser resurfacing treatments with a 3juve machine. I’m due to have my 3rd treatment in a weeks time. I’m having the treatment done to treat fine lines, old acne scars an pitting. I was just wondering if it’s normal that I’m not seeing any results at all yet? I’m getting a little worried that I may have wasted my money.

Answer: Hi
Resurfacing lasers come in different strengths.
Medical lasers give results after 2 treatments depending on the severity of the scars. Unfortunately we are not able to comment on the equipment you had your treatment with.

Your welcome to make an appointment for a consultation with one of our esthetician’s.

Answer: Hi Terri
We don’t offer 3Juve treatments in our clinic so I wouldn’t be able to comment with regards to how effective it should be. I would suggest, however, that you contact the clinic/practitioner currently treating you and ask for a review of your progress to date.

Answer: Hi Terri,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We would recommend going back to your practitioner that performed your treatment for a review and to discuss.

We unfortunately cannot comment on your treatment results as we did not carry the treatment out or have the suggest machine in clinic.

Best wishes,
Abbi

Answer: Hi Terri
Thank you for your enquiry, I am aware of the Lynton machines and whilst it should be effective at treating fine lines in my opinion it would not be a suitable laser to use for acne scarring, Unfortunately acne scarring needs to be traumatized in order to rebuild collagen. Acne scarring can de particularly difficult to treat however I have found that fractora combined with radiofrequency is extremely effective.
