I have done laser surgery and electrolysis, and while electrolysis is much more painful, it is much better at getting results faster. After a full treatment (7 months) of laser hair removal, any hair that had too much red in it and all of the paler, thinner hairs had been missed. I spent just as much money on electrolysis as I did on laser hair removal, and while it took longer and was more painful, no hairs were missed. I could have used electrolysis to begin with and saved money in the long run.
