Botox for ETD

Do you do Botox to relax the muscles in the ear causing vibrating tinnitus.

Answer: No I don’t. I suggest your GP refers you to one of the ENT consultants, but I think the data is tenuous at best.

Answer: Good Morning, I'm afraid this is not something we can help with, I would recommend seeking the advice of an ENT specialist.

Answer: Hi, thank you for your enquiry. we do not offer this treatment as it is rarely offered for tinnitus, as there are other treatments that have been proven to be more effective, such as medications, behavioural therapies, or specialist hearing aids

Answer: Hi, Many thanks for your enquiry. I'm afraid we do not offer this very specialised treatment. You would need to see an ENT surgeon who also specialises in Botox. Kind regards

Answer: Hi, Im sorry we are unable to offer Botox for Medical treatments. This would require our clinic to be CQC registered which we are not but you ind be able to find one online by researching CQC registered aesthetic clinics. Thank you

Answer: I think you are talking about Eustachian tube dysfunction. That should be managed by an ENT surgeon.

TBH if you have ETD adenoid tonsillectomy would be first choice. Also I often question rare diagnoses because Jersey seems to have an abnormal amount of ultra rare diagnoses and in fact is just common things presenting uncommonly.

Discuss your issues with either Mr Cathcart or Mr De Cordova or Mr Siodlak. Anyway if you were to have a trial of Botox for ETD, they would need to do it as the injections are in the throat directly behind the nasal cavity.
