How can a skin tag that has grown on the edge of the right lower eyelid be removed safely?
This has been checked by an aesthetic surgeon and it is the only place they cannot remove a skin tag as it is so close to the eye.
The skin tag is now impeding the sight of the right eye when looking downwards to read, type or doing any task that requires looking down and rotating the eye ball downwards.

Answer: Hi Mark, Yes our nurse can remove a skin tag that is close to the eye. We have photos we can show you in clinic of tags the nurse has removed that are growing through eyelashes.
You would need a consultation with the nurse. The removal is done as a minor procedure under local anaesthetic and costs £350.

Answer: Hi Mark. I remove skin tags with short wave diathermy. I would need to see the skin tag before I could say if I was happy to remove it or not. It is at this stage that a Laser Patch test will be provided, which needs to be monitored for 24 hours prior to ensure there are no adverse reactions.
Here at the Clinic we offer a simple medical procedure that leaves the skin smooth and clear of skin tags. Our computer-operated Erbium YAGG laser beam is targeted at the area to be treated and evaporates the unwanted tissue in very precise and thin layers.
Immediately after the laser treatment, a small, attrition-like wound appears in the treated area. Within a day a small scab will form, and the superficial wound to the skin takes 7-10 days to heal. Generally only one procedure will be needed to remove the lesion completely.
