Question: Treatment for eyebags

Hi

I am 60 years old and would like some advice on how to minimise the bags under my eyes. I've heard of 2 treatments - eye bag removal and eye trough fillers. Please can you tell me the pros and cons of both and roughly how much they each cost?

Answer: Hi Ming,

The under eye area is a concern for many. We would suggest to book in for a consulation with our Medical Director and Plastic Surgeon, Mr Gateley, so he can have a look at the area and advise what treatment would be best for you. He would send you a written quote for any surgical procedure. For tear through filler, he charges £450.

Please, call us to book an appointment

We'll look forward to seeing you soon.

Kind regards,
Nakedhealth Team

Answer: Hi there, if you have true eye bags then tear trough treatment isn’t suitable and I don’t offer a surgical option. Always best to carry out a face to face consultation. Please let me know if you require this - kind regards Sarah

Answer: Hello,
This is a treatment we would perform in our clinic.
The questions you have asked are ones that would be dealt with during the consultation with one of our nurses.
We don't perform eye bag removal as this is a surgical procedure. You would need to take advice from a plastic surgeon for that.
If you would like a consultation to discuss fillers, then please do let us know.
Kind regards
reception team

Answer: Hi Ming,
Thanks for your message. The options you have suggested, tear trough removal is a surgical option that we don't offer at the clinic but would required using local anaesthetic to cut and remove excess skin from the area, there would be downtime for healing associated with this, but it is a good option where filler is not suitable. You would need to contact Private hospital/surgeons to have this treatment.

Tear trough filler is a non surgical option which involves placing filler in the under eye are to brighten dark circles and fill the hollow under the eye. This treatment is not suitable for patients with "puffy eyes", its is £220 per ml and would depend on how much filler is used. you would be best to have a consultation to be assessed for suitability.

Answer: Good Afternoon,

I would only advise on having surgery on the area as sometimes Dermal filler can make eye bags even worse.

Kind Regards

Answer: Dear Ming - the success of any treatment really depends on the cause of the problem and the current aesthetic. This is a difficult question to answer without actually seeing your eyes and understanding what your goals are and what your skin is like - if you have 'bags' it is highly unlikely that filler will be right for you. 'Removal' - Surgery? This is an alternative to any non surgical treatment . However treatments like poly nucleotides maybe an alternative for you - you can view this on our website but the pathway to the best results is via a consultation, which again can be booked direct.
