The Happy Skin Clinic is a non-medical corneotherapy and electrolysis clinic that exists not only to help your skin look and feel beautiful, but genuinly healthier too!
Corneotherapy treatments repair, restore, and rejuvenate the skin barrier for cosmetic reasons and for barrier health and protection, whilst avoiding the use of any treatments or ingredients that remove or upset the outer layers of skin. A weakened skin barrier leads tired looking skin incorrectly associated with ageing. It can cause or exacerbate common skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, cuperose, rosacea and psoriasis, as well as other more serious health conditions. Treatment options will depend on the client’s skincare goals and can include dermaviduals® facials and scientific skincare, galvanic facials, microcurrent, high frequency, microneedling, and LED light therapy.
Scar and blemish removal and reduction treatments from acne scars to facial red veins and more. Reducing or removing blemishes improves client self-confidence, and many of the procedures are quick. The modalities selected will depend on the type of blemish. Treatments include microneedling, thermolysis, and LED, all supported by dermaviduals® skincare.
Electrolysis treatments permanently removes unwanted hair for cosmetic reasons rather than using temporary methods such as tweezing or waxing. Although not directly associated with corneotherapy, electrolysis negates the need for temporary methods of hair removal which damage the skin tissue and could lead to a weakened barrier when used over prolonged periods. Removing the temporary method restores the barrier health, and the use of corneotherapy skincare is recommended before, during and after electrolysis. Treatments include Sterex Electrolysis and are supported with sterex and dermaviduals® skincare.
