Libbie Wallace,

Originally from Australia, I moved to London in 1998 having qualified as a registered general nurse from Curtin University of Technology in 1993. My early career was as a theatre nurse in various specialties including plastics in Perth, Sydney and London. Wanting to do more in theatre, in 2003 I qualified as a surgical assistant and from 2006 I worked as a cardiac surgical assistant for a number of eminent surgeons in London.

Growing up in Australia under the harsh sun, I was always conscious of looking after my skin. This inspired a keen interest in skin rejuvenation and I began to spend a little less time in theatre to follow my emerging passion. So began my career in non-surgical facial aesthetics, where I trained under leading facial aesthetic experts in all aspects of medical aesthethics, namely Botulinum Toxin type A injections, dermal fillers, profhilo, viscoderm hydroboost, micro-needling therapy with SkinPen, chemical peels and medical skincare.

In 2018 I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a Masters in Aesthetic Medicine. It was at this time I decided I wanted to start my own clinic. My philosophy is to provide honest and impartial advice to clients and use quality products to achieve the best results and help them achieve their goals. As an aesthetic nurse prescriber I have been providing skin rejuvenation treatments to clients since 2012, and I opened the Libbie Wallace Skin Clinic in 2019.

I have an ongoing commitment to remaining at the forefront of aesthetic medicine and regularly update my knowledge and skills by attending conferences and formal training. I am a full member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, Royal College of Nursing, British Dermatological Nursing Group, Nursing and Midwifery Council and Save Face.
