I qualified as a registered general nurse from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia in 1993. I worked in Perth for 3 years, then in Sydney for 2 years before moving to London in 1998. I worked as a theatre nurse in various specialities through out my career, including plastics, and in 2003 I became a surgical assistant. I then went on to work as a Cardiac surgical assistant in 2006, working for a number of eminent surgeons.
With a great deal of surgical anatomical knowledge and a keen interest in skin rejuvenation, I then commenced my career in non-surgical facial aesthetics training under leading facial aesthetic experts in all aspects of medical aesthetics, namely Botulinum Toxin type A injections, dermal fillers, profhilo, viscoderm hydroboost, micro-needling therapy with SkinPen, chemical peels and medical skincare. I regularly attend aesthetic conferences, clinical education, cadaver anatomy courses, and have a Masters in Aesthetic Medicine – Queen Mary University London.
