I used Ellanse filer to reduce wrinkles on my cheeks two years ago and for the past year have big hard lumps in the area. They grew gradually and last few months changed color to blue and became very visible. Size of the biggest one is 2cm. Did you ever have any similar experience or know how this happens?

I have been using ellanse for my patients for over 7 years now and I can confidently say that it is a great product.
Early or late development of nodules has been described as a (very rare) complication. From your description this might be the issue. Therefore, I suggest at this stage for you to get in touch with the doctor/ clinic where you had the procedure, As they will probably have your file and your medical history, they should be able to advise/ treat you further

Answer: Hi Nevena, sorry to hear you have had this experience with Ellanse. I have not heard before of the issues you describe, apart from small nodules can occur occasionally. Ideally you need to go back to the practitioner who did your treatment, they should be able to give you some help for delayed onset nodules and they should send a report to the manufacturers. Answer: Dear Nevena, Thank you for your question. Fortunately, I never had these complications in my practice. But it doesn\'t mean it can never happen. We all got to be prepared to deal with complications. It sounds like you are having delayed onset of reaction to filler. Forming granuloma nodule. Nodule formation may be associated with the injection technique of the practitioner; in most cases too much material has been injected at a single point. Collagen deposition around the PCL spheres. then delayed onset of reaction of autoimmune system. Usually these nodules disappear on there own over the year. But it would be better to contact your injector, they might be able to help you. And yournpractitioner can take help from ACE group. Who would advice them to manage this complication.
