I want bocouture but suffer from retinitis pigmentosa. Has anyone ever treated someone with this condition and are there any contraindications please? Thanks.

Answer: Hello, and thank you for your query. Botox is not contraindicated in patients with retinitis pugmentosa, but care should be taken with injections around the eyes, as a rare side effect could be acute angle closure of the eyelids, leading to reduced vision. I would advise that botox treatment is suitable for areas like the frown and forehead, but not for the crows feet to the sides of the eyes.
