Thank you for your email enquiry.
CO2 Laser skin resurfacing has become one of today’s most popular aesthetic treatments. This is due to the incredible results and long-term effects on a wide range of dermatological and cosmetic skin conditions including severe acne scarring that was once virtually impossible to improve.
Resurfacing is quite uncomfortable, and you must be prepared for this; we will manage this for you with topical anaesthesia and refrigerated air.
Immediately following the procedure, the skin will feel tight, appear very pink and feel hot. You will have a stinging sensation which will last for about an hour and we recommend that you remain in our recovery facility where we will continue to apply cooling air and moisturise the skin to calm the discomfort.
The erythema will generally only last for three to five days depending on the depth of your procedure. Most clients observe greatly improved skin tone after the first treatment. You will also notice that pigmentation and scarring may have faded or completely disappeared.
The laser also stimulates the production of collagen and you will notice a progressive improvement of your skin for at least six months after treatment.
Our opening hours are:
Monday 9-6pm
If you have any further questions or would like to book your Complimentary Consultation, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be more than happy to help.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Answer: Good morning .
Many thanks for your enquiry into our CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing treatment.
The first step is to attend a face to face consultation with one of our aestheticians, Rachael and Gemma. Within this consultation you will be able to express your concerns and desired results and our aesthetician can advise on the most suitable treatment to gain the best result for you. We take a £50 deposit to secure your booking but this can be used as part payment or refunded in full should you attend and decide not to go ahead.
If it is indeed our CO2 laser you and our aesthetician agree to proceed with, a patch test will be performed at this appointment to ensure your skin does not have any adverse reaction to the laser. This is a necessary requirement at least 72 hours prior to a treatment appointment.
Prices can be found on the following link: https://www.rejuvamed.co.uk/treatments/facial/co2-laser-skin-resurfacing/
If you would like to arrange a consultation or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team. Our contact details can be found on our clinic profile.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Gemma
