Answer: Thank you for your enquiry about anti-wrinkle injections at RejuvaMed. Below you will find detailed information about this treatment, along with our prices.
Anti-wrinkle injections consist of small amounts of botulinum toxin type A which is administered with a tiny needle to the muscles in the face which cause your skin to crease and create wrinkles. This temporarily relaxes these muscles, reducing the appearance of the fine lines and wrinkles in that area as your skin is no longer able to be manipulated by the muscles as strongly as it was before. Botulinium toxin can be used to dramatically soften and even remove frown lines between the eyebrows, on the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It can also be used to prevent a “gummy smile”, where the top lip lifts to reveal the upper gumline when smiling, and to reduce and prevent excessive sweating in the armpits, which is known as hyperhidrosis.
We have two practitioners offering anti-wrinkle injections – Doctor Grant and Nurse Helen.
Not only will your treatment be carried out in a safe, friendly and clinical environment by a fully qualified consultant doctor or nurse practitioner, but you will also have access to our comprehensive follow-up service. Our phone lines are manned from 9am – 5pm Monday - Saturday by trained and experienced staff, and our team is also available to answer enquiries on email at info@rejuvamed.co.uk.
To make your treatment as safe and as comfortable as possible, we use The Invisible Needle in conjunction with AccuVein.
The Invisible Needle is the first of its kind and is the thinnest needle available for Botox injections on the market to date. Many clinics use larger insulin needles which are more uncomfortable. This extremely small needle allows the experience of having anti-wrinkle injections to be an almost painless one, and also reduces the chances of bruising and bleeding.
AccuVein is a hand-held device which uses infrared light to highlight the vein network beneath the surface of the skin. This means that veins can be avoided during the administration of anti-wrinkle injections, significantly reducing the risk of bruising, helping to avoid the complication of a black eye following treatment.

Botox treatments for the face are priced per treatment area and differ slightly depending on which clinic you visit and which practitioner carries out the treatment. *Please note that for male clients the prices will be slightly higher as larger doses of botulinum toxin are usually required*.
