Owner Tawa Dowling

Answer: Hello Teresa,

Thank you for your interest in botox treatment.

Botox (botulinum toxin) has been used for several years to successfully reduce lines around the face caused by muscle contraction. Results start to show within a few days and usually last for 3 to 4 months. Epilepsy is not a contraindication for botox treatment, as long as the epilepsy is well controlled.

Please note that as botox is a prescription only medicine, you will have to have an in-person consultation with myself (a prescriber) first, then the treatment appointment can be arranged for a few days later. You will be required to pay £30 of the treatment cost when you book in for the consultation. Prices are as follows. 1 area £160; 2 areas £215; 3 areas £270.

Please use the link in my clinic bio (TD Aesthetics) to book an appointment.

Once you've booked in, you'll receive consultation and consent forms via email, which need to be completed before the appointment, to ensure there are no contraindications to the treatment.

I look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon.

Warm regards,

Nurse Tawa

Answer: Hi,

Thank you for your message. My prices are £190 for one area, £245 for two areas and £295 for three areas.

Regarding your epilepsy, as long as it’s well controlled and there haven’t been any recent changes to your medication or seizure pattern, Botox is generally considered safe. I’d just go through a few routine medical questions at your consultation to make sure everything is suitable for you.

If you’d like to book in, Please contact me via my profile.

Thanks, Dr Hazel

Answer: Everything is on the website. I charge by amount of Botox used as depending on age/lines/desired look you can often do “three areas” for the price of one. I appreciate it’s a non-answer but I stopped using “charge by area” years ago as it was simply unfair.

Epilepsy is fine- I am an emergency consultant after all.

Medical Director & Doctor Dr Grant McKeating

Answer: Thank you for your enquiry about anti-wrinkle injections at RejuvaMed. Below you will find detailed information about this treatment, along with our prices.

Anti-wrinkle injections consist of small amounts of botulinum toxin type A which is administered with a tiny needle to the muscles in the face which cause your skin to crease and create wrinkles. This temporarily relaxes these muscles, reducing the appearance of the fine lines and wrinkles in that area as your skin is no longer able to be manipulated by the muscles as strongly as it was before. Botulinium toxin can be used to dramatically soften and even remove frown lines between the eyebrows, on the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It can also be used to prevent a “gummy smile”, where the top lip lifts to reveal the upper gumline when smiling, and to reduce and prevent excessive sweating in the armpits, which is known as hyperhidrosis.

We have two practitioners offering anti-wrinkle injections – Doctor Grant and Nurse Helen.

Not only will your treatment be carried out in a safe, friendly and clinical environment by a fully qualified consultant doctor or nurse practitioner, but you will also have access to our comprehensive follow-up service. Our phone lines are manned from 9am – 5pm Monday - Saturday by trained and experienced staff, and our team is also available to answer enquiries on email at info@rejuvamed.co.uk.
To make your treatment as safe and as comfortable as possible, we use The Invisible Needle in conjunction with AccuVein.
The Invisible Needle is the first of its kind and is the thinnest needle available for Botox injections on the market to date. Many clinics use larger insulin needles which are more uncomfortable. This extremely small needle allows the experience of having anti-wrinkle injections to be an almost painless one, and also reduces the chances of bruising and bleeding.
AccuVein is a hand-held device which uses infrared light to highlight the vein network beneath the surface of the skin. This means that veins can be avoided during the administration of anti-wrinkle injections, significantly reducing the risk of bruising, helping to avoid the complication of a black eye following treatment.

Prices
Botox treatments for the face are priced per treatment area and differ slightly depending on which clinic you visit and which practitioner carries out the treatment. *Please note that for male clients the prices will be slightly higher as larger doses of botulinum toxin are usually required*.
Nurse Helen Botox 1 area: from £150 / Dr Grant Botox 1 area: £185
Nurse Helen Botox 2 areas: from £195 / Dr Grant Botox 2 areas: £245
Nurse Helen Botox 3 areas: from £235 / Dr Grant Botox 3 areas: £290

A consultation with Dr Grant is required prior to all anti-wrinkle injection treatments (if you wish to have your treatment performed by Nurse Helen this can be arranged after you have had a consultation with Dr Grant) and the non-refundable fee for this consultation is £50 which is payable at the point of making the appointment booking to secure the appointment slot. This £50 consultation fee can then be used as part payment of your treatment or a product purchase over £100 within 3 months of the consultation date. If you would like to make an appointment for a consultation please let us know and we can arrange this for you.
Please note, our anti-wrinkle injection consultations are carried out by Consultant Doctor Grant McKeating, and during your consultation you will be given free, honest and expert advice not only for this treatment in particular, but for any other treatments which may be deemed suitable for you in order to achieve the best possible results, in accordance with General Medical Council guidelines. You are under no obligation to proceed with any treatment or service recommended during your consultation and will be free to take away any reading materials you require for further information and study at home.

Answer: Hi Teresa, thanks for your enquiry. Yes I offer botulinum toxin injections. It depends upon the number of areas treated but starts at £225 - you can see details on my website under prices. And yes I can treat you with you epilepsy.

At Finesse Skin Clinic I would always recommend a face to face consultation to discuss your requirements. This is beneficial and will enable you to see the clinic and its clean professional treatment environment and of course to meet your practitioner.

How does this sound to you?
