Answer: Hi Nicole,

In general, I would say that to tackle rosacea, IPL is better as it tackles the root cause of the problem, which is the blood vessels. Hydrafacial may give relief from symptoms and may improve the quality of your skin so that it can better cope with flare ups, but the IPL treatment would give better long term clearing

Answer: Hello Nicole,

IPL can be beneficial for Rosacea, but LED is more gentle and less invasive, with less chance of making the rosacea worse.

Hydrafacial wouldn't provide much benefit for rosacea, and may in fact worsen the symptoms of inflammation, as it could irritate the skin barrier further.

Other treatments for rosacea could include gentle skin peels, skincare containing calming and soothing ingredients, or prescription creams containing antibiotics or antifungal products.

If you'd like to book a consultation to discuss the most appropriate treatment options, please use the link in my bio (TD Aesthetics).

I look forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards

Nurse Tawa

Answer: Hi Nicole, I think personally the IPL. But also skincare, diet and lifestyle will have a big impact. I don’t offer IPL but can help you with other advice and get your skin health sorted - message if you need more info. Sarah.

Answer: Hi Nicole,

Unfortunately, we do not offer the Hydrafacial so we are unable to state which treatment is more beneficial.
The benefits of the laser treatment is that it reduces any inflammation, redness, and uneven skin tone which caused by the condition. We find that the laser has long-lasting results.

Hope this helped.

Kind regards,

Answer: Hydrafacials are perfecting for helping to calm the redness in the skin from rosacea. You add on a "Rozatrol" booster to our Hydrafacials which helps to calm and combat red, sensitised skin.
