Thank you for your query about itchy and flaking head skin.

Without seeing the area it can be difficult to propose a treatment,
but typically this may be due to a number of causes, such as localised irritation and sensitivity due to allergies or an inflammatory condition like eczema.

Treatments could include skincare to repair the damaged skin barrier, and LED therapy using red and/or near infra red light to soothe the inflammation.

We are an advanced skin care clinic whereby we have a Dermatology department. Our Doctor Fatima Ahmed who specialises in Dermatology would see you for a Consultation first, during which she will thoroughly assess the area you are concerned with. Dr Fatima has an extensive list of qualifications including Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery, Diploma of practical dermatology, Masters in dermatology skills and treatment and Board Certified in Aesthetic medicine, Dr Fatima is GMC registered and she can treat a number of conditions as well as carry out procedures and treatments here at the clinic.
During your Dermatology Consultation your medical history will be discussed along with your current concerns, a diagnosis will be carried out and your treatment options will be explained thoroughly and an individual treatment plan will be created for you.
The cost of the consultation is as follows:
Initial consultation, over 18: £175 (£35 deposit payable upon booking)
Initial consultation, under 18: £120 (£35 deposit payable upon booking)

Dr Fatima’s working hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am – 4:30pm
