Dr Jenni, Medical Director at The Dr Jenni Clinic.
I’m an experienced medical doctor, GP and aesthetic medicine specialist, offering an ever-expanding range of healthcare and skin treatments from my beautiful clinic in Blisworth, Northamptonshire. I have always loved helping others. I qualified as a medical doctor in 2008 at which point I began the journey to become a GP.
Whilst at medical school I gained both a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) degree and a Biomedical Sciences degree. During this time I published a research paper relating to how parts of the brain affect memory. I had always been interested in how we function, and spent several months living and working in a neurology department in Sydney, Australia.
During a wonderful 18 years in the NHS, I gained experience in many different areas of medicine, including; A&E, paediatrics, ENT, oncology, surgery, and dermatology as well as many others.
I have always loved the practical, hands-on side of my work and it was my over-riding passion for relationship building, caring for people and the complexities and diversity of general medicine that lead me down the path to becoming a GP. I never regretted it for a moment and I never stop learning, even now. As a GP I developed many interests, including hormones, gut health, and mental health. However, it had long been my dream to have my own space in which to really help people overcome barriers to total wellness, get to the root cause of their health concerns and to live with more vitality.
It has always been my life’s ambition to help people. Treating people when they are poorly is one, very important, element of medicine but we should never understate the importance of wellness.
I founded The Dr Jenni Clinic because I feel passionate about helping people to look and feel their best. We are all wonderfully and beautifully unique and at The Dr Jenni Clinic we embrace this fact – treating everyone with a personalised, functional, whole-person approach, rather than the limited, one-size-fits-all approach that many of us may have become used to.
We know that how we see ourselves in the mirror is very strongly linked to how we feel and our mental wellbeing and this is why providing you with the highest quality, safe, skincare and medical aesthetics treatments and aftercare are as important to us as they are to you.
At The Dr Jenni Clinic, we always ensure that we perform safe skincare treatments and will take full care of you, from enquiry to follow up and beyond. I am proud to offer a personalised, professional approach when it comes to treating you and my aim will always be to give you natural-looking results using advanced aesthetic treatments. The additional benefit of being treated by me is that as a registered medical doctor, I have an ethical responsibility to always put your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and safety first. I’m very passionate about improving safety within the skincare industry and will always tell my clients that aesthetic medicine involves medical procedures and as such, should be treated seriously. I always recommend that everyone does their research before booking in for any medical aesthetic treatment or procedure with any skincare specialist. It is so important that you find a qualified and skilled professional who will treat you with kindness and compassion and who will educate and empower you.
At The Dr Jenni Clinic we offer you a unique experience; bringing together a range of experts who truly care, in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment that doesn’t feel like a typical GP surgery. You can take a comfy seat, pour yourself a drink, chat to our team, charge your phone and make yourself at home. You can take the time you need, will never be rushed and you will always be valued, listened to, acknowledged and appreciated as the leader in your own wellness journey.
I’ve been on a journey too – connecting with people, learning from others, and enjoying life. When I look at the road I’ve travelled and all the things I have pursued along the way, it makes so much sense that I would end up here. I’m blessed to spend each day helping others. Helping you to look great, feel great and live better is enjoyable, challenging, enlightening and rewarding.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
