All of our treatments are carried out by a fully qualified Medical Doctor who specialises in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments. Dr A G Rippon, graduated with MBchB (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, University of Dundee), in 1998. He is a fully qualified medical doctor with full registration by the General Medical Council (GMC). While enjoying a career as a Principal G.P., Dr A G Rippon developed special interests in minor surgery and Medical Aesthetics. Dr Rippon believes there is a science behind beauty and ageing. He understands that lots of people do not like the thought of cosmetic surgery and believes modern medical technology can provide todays consumers with superior alternatives to invasive, painful surgery that may require a long recovery. Dr A G Rippon is highly skilled in the art of Medical Aesthetics, and has been trained to a very high Advanced Level standard by leading providers for medical aesthetic training. Dr A G Rippon is also a medical examiner at The Silverlink Clinics, which is acclaimed for its excellent Gold Standard Results. We are a confidential, friendly clinic offering wrinkle reduction techniques including Prescribed Medical Injectables, Collagen Induction Therapy, Lip Enhancements, Dermal Fillers, Veinwave, Platelet Rich Plasma, Thread Lifts and Obagi Nu-Derm Skin System. Depending on what kind of treatment you have, you will receive a post-treatment follow up in 2 to 3 weeks’ time with Dr Rippon so that you can really see the difference.

Earlier this year Health Education England recommended that any register of non-surgical practitioners should become accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). In doing so, Save Face has become first body to take the Keogh and HEE recommendations and successfully implement them in a much needed model, becoming a respected regulatory organization. The PSA recommends that the public only use registers who have met their rigorous standards. This means that aesthetic practice is now recognised as a healthcare service in the UK, which helps to distinguish the field from the wider beauty industry.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is plasma from your own blood which contains concentrated platelets.
What are platelets?
Platelets are a specialized type of blood cell fragment in your own blood which are reservoirs of natural growth factors. Platelets rupture and release their growth factors when they find themselves out of their normal environment (which is in your blood vessels). Typically this occurs when an injury occurs to the body and blood vessels are ruptured. This could be due to an accidental cut or scrape or a bruise. The released growth factors then get to work building new blood vessels and new tissue. In normal circumstances, growth factors are important in healing and skin regeneration.
* Growth factors stimulate collagen secretion, cell growth and tissue remodelling.
* Growth factors stimulate development of new blood vessels to improve skin nourishment.
* Growth factors attract stem cells to assist in this role of new tissue regeneration.

Visited Rippon Medical Services after researching practitioners in my local area, Carlisle. After finding about four places, I was really impressed with one Clinic. This was Doctor led and it was local. All the treatments I was interested in was seen and carried out by a fully qualified Doctor. Prices were reasonable and the level of quality from start to finish was amazing. They run from their own premises and can be accessed really easily. Dr Rippon is always at hand and give me one to one professional treatment in fabulous surroundings.
