Mr Jones qualified in 1992 from St Bartholomew’s Medical College London and became Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996. He undertook Higher Surgical training in the South West Thames region from April 1997, with a period of research in the role of IL-6 in Abdominal Aneurysms that was published and for which was awarded Master of Surgery. Mr Jones has also undertaken specialist Vascular training at St Thomas’s and St George’s Hospitals. In 2005 he was appointed as a Consultant at King’s College Hospital, and after developing their endovascular AAA practice he moved to St George’s in 2008 as the lower limb arterial lead. he has recently moved his NHS post to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
He is London’s Vascular Training Programme Director and a member of the National Vascular Specialty Advisory Committee.
