Dr Zainab Al-Mukhtar, Principal Dentist

Dr Zainab Al-Mukhtar qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2010 from Kings College London, and has since developed a focus on dento-facial aesthetics.

With over a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine and 10 years as a regular aesthetics trainer for medical professionals, Dr Zainab has cultivated a refined approach to facial harmonisation, and is renowned for her natural looking results and attention to detail. She believes in treating the face holistically and respecting facial anatomy and proportions, and is sought after by patients both nationally and internationally.

She was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013.

After serving the NHS for 5 years, Dr Zainab transitioned to private practice in 2015.
She became clinical director of this clinic in 2017 co-owner in 2018.

A passionate educator, Dr Zainab has been a lead trainer for a number of facial aesthetic academies since 2014 where she lectures on advanced masterclasses. She is the co-creator of the Facial Contouring Masterclass – Acquisition Aesthetics with the UK’s award winning training academy, Acquisition Aesthetics, where she also co-teaches a Non Surgical Rhinoplasty Masterclass.

An avid speaker, Dr Zainab speaks at national conferences on various subjects around facial aesthetics and dentistry.

Dr Zainab is a strong advocate for the use of the safest techniques in injectables. She was one of the earliest injectors in the UK to adopt facial ultrasound, which can add a layer of precaution to high risk injectable treatments, and is a valuable tool in the management of filler complications. She has since written multiple published articles on arterial anatomy and lectured on the value of ultrasound in aesthetics.

Dr Zainab is also a member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC). She is a Key Opinion Leader for Philips Oral Health, a role in which she contributes to peer and public education.

With her unique combined skillset in smile design and facial sculpting, Dr Zainab uses a multi modal approach with soft tissue injectables, bio stimulating treatments for skin rejuvenation, orthodontics and minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry.
