I can't recommend Clare / Appearance Based Medicine highly enough. She explains everything thoroughly from the initial consultation to throughout the procedure itself. It's impossible not to feel confident and relaxed in her very capable hands. She offers a full complement of expert skincare treatments from her immaculate studio. Although I didn't feel I necessarily 'needed' treatment, I am so glad I had it! It is a real confidence booster and I will definitely be going back to Clare.

I had Botox treatment over 3 areas (forehead, frown and crow's feet), with Clare. Clare was so informative during my consultation and made sure I was comfortable before going ahead with the treatment. The treatment itself was not painful and very comfortable, and the results were fantastic - very effective but also very natural. Would highly recommend and will be back!

It was really nice to meet with you via the video consultation last week. The most incredible breakthrough for me is to find a sunscreen that works! Previously, even with hat, sunglasses, parasol and trying to keep out of the sun I would be red and burning.
Now with the Helio sunscreen, I look normal! Like I do in the Autumn and Winter. It really, really works and no reaction. All other products in the past few years have been a fine line between being a sunscreen but also having some reaction to their ingredients.
At some point in the not too far distant future - though maybe next year - I hope to return to the TV and Film work. I used to do a lot of period drama roles and you cannot be sunburnt or brown if you wish to get chosen. So thank you for the opportunity of finding this product. It is a life- changer for me in the Summer and late-Spring.
I am also using the Newa device and very much like the results. Easy to use ??? as you said, you just have to put the time aside to follow the routine. It is great to have a home use RF product not just for the situation now but for convenience in the future.???

I can 100% recommend Claire, she is a fully qualified experienced nurse and you will be in caring expert hands. Her aim is to achieve a natural look, I want to look like me just a younger me. As a nurse myself, I would not hesitate to recommend Clare as a expert aesthetic practitioner whom I can only praise for her meticulous practice. I've been seeing Clare for several years for various treatments - Botox, fillers, facials etc and I have always been pleased with the results. What I particularly like about Clare is that she takes the time to listen and understand my concerns and advises on the best treatment. She will also advise against treatments if she thinks they will not meet 'unrealistic expectations'.
I was really pleased with the threadlift procedure I had a couple of years ago and would consider this again.

She was careful to explain both the risks as well as the benefits of the procedure to make sure I fully understood what I was paying for and she does not oversell. Appearance Based Medicine is one of the best provider of beauty services I ever used.
Claire gave me many treatments from Botox, fillers, ice and fire and she remodelled my face perfectly.It was amazing as now my face is not only lifted and contoured but it is really symmetrical which was not the case before. That takes real talent and patience.
Claire always explains the treatment and she would not perform a treatment if she thinks it will not provide the expected results. But she always finds another solution.
What is not to really love about it?

I visited for a non surgical consultation. Clare was absolutely lovely and very honest with me. Despite wanting work on my nose, clare said I didn't need it and to really think carefully. I am 50 years old mother of three grown up children living in Hertfordshire. I work in a position where my appearance has always been very important. Earlier in my life I suffered from adult acne which left me with some skin damage exacerbated by sun and antibiotics. My skin specialist Dr Ravi Ratanavel recommended Clare to me and I have been seeing her for over ten years. I have always been impressed by Clare's friendly professionalism and she has always put me at ease, especially in the early days when I was unsure of the processes. My initial course of derma abrasion and chemical skin peel produced superb results and I now have a smoother and more even skin tone. I have since had a consultation and wrinkle relaxing treatments to smooth my deep frown lines and fillers to soften a few lines. Now that Clare has moved to a new location I shall keep following. Prior to seeing Clare I had never experienced any aesthetic treatments. I approached Clare because she had medical training and bona fide qualifications that inspired trust. Two years after my second child was born (2004) I started seeing Clare , initially for lip fillers. I was so delighted with the subtle effect that I felt confident enough to have a consultation for wrinkle relaxing treatments as I had deep wrinkles on my forehead. The transformation was immediate and I have been treated by Clare ever since, more than happy with the way she keeps my face looking fresh but not ???processed. Her insistence that her work is about looking natural yet the best it can be reinforces my conviction that she has my best interests at heart. I recently had lip fillers again after a 6 year break and am utterly delighted with the results. This enhancement will be part of my regular treatments alongside the wrinkle relaxing treatments. I cannot recommend Clare highly enough for beautiful , not extreme, facial enhancement. I trust her implicitly with my own appearance and would be happy to recommend her to anyone looking to improve their own appearance.

I am a GP, and previously had my consultations for wrinkle relaxing treatments at a local clinic.I first met Clare when I trained in Aesthetics myself, and she was my trainer. I was very impressed with her skill and knowledge and began seeing her privately for my treatments. I have been performing wrinkle relaxing and filler treatments on my clients for some years now, but I still go to Clare for my consultations and treatments, and I think that is a testament to her skill and professionalism. She does my upper and lower face wrinkle relaxing and cheek, and mid face augmentation with fillers. Clare's results always exceed expectations, and I'm always amazed at how great she makes me look! I first met Clare during my basic aesthetics training at Cosmetic Courses, where she is an advanced trainer. Her teaching was excellent and I booked for several more sessions with Clare in more advanced techniques to become more confident and to be able to offer a wider range of treatments. The tips, tricks and advice Clare gave me during those sessions have stuck with me. They have taught me the skills to offer a very personal and effective treatment to my patients. I'm a firm believer in knowing how the treatments I offer feel, and there is no one I would trust more than Clare to treat me. I had always wanted more definition to my upper lip, whilst it had volume I just felt the edge was a little flat. I feel compelled to write about the great results I have received from Clare McLoughlin because I was so surprised at such a great service and resulting positive effects from her treatments. In my line of work, it is so important to look good and I have to say, I do. I have had consultations and wrinkle relaxing treatments for a number of years and have used a number of practitioners because I was never quite as happy with the results as I expected. They didn't seem to listen to what I was looking for. I was then introduced to Clare through a mutual friend and decided to try her out. I must admit that I was expecting a similar experience to my previous encounters with aesthetic practitioners but how wrong I was. Clare spent time with me to find out the exact results I was looking for and I immediately felt confident. Not only is her bedside manner excellent, but she also has a way of delivering the injections with very little pain. I was most impressed that she actually said no to a request because it wouldn't have worked in my case. That really built my trust in her. Clare takes a real interest in how I feel and what I am looking for. I recently had a thread face lift because I trust her so much and the results are subtly impressive. I don't feel that I have changed, just look smoother and softer in my face. So people tell me I look great. Nobody would know that I have had such a treatment, which is just what I wanted. I will stay with Clare as I have found the professional and personal solution to my beauty needs in her, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I was warmly met and made to feel that my concerns were being taken seriously. I was talked through the treatment and the products without feeling under any pressure. I felt valued as a client. The receptionist was warm and friendly, the reception area uncluttered and welcoming. The clinic was immaculate and the Cosmetic Nurse was gentle in her approach and highly knowledgeable about treatments and products.

Had a fabulous Fire & Ice Medical Facial on Friday - really great and with some dermabrasion to prepare my skin before the facial, my skin felt so soft and clean and new afterwards. I especially liked the 'ice' part of the facial which was the cooling phase. As a novice to such treatments, Clare explained everything thoroughly and put me at my ease - thank you! :)

I had a complete intracell treatment, botox, fillers, facials. The results are amazing. I had very bad acne scaring that is now almost gone. The skin looks very young as in my 30s and I am now in my 50s. Clare has reconstructed my forehead from a very wrinkly and uneven to a perfect looking one. The botox always lasts almosts 4 months. I first went to Clare for Sclerotherapy in 2004 to treat spider veins on my thigh. She has always been very professional but with a caring and empathetic attitude. I had a lovely Fire and Ice facial with Clare which left my skin feeling amazing. My skin was quite dehydrated and felt dry and dull before the treatment. Clare was very professional and explained exactly what she was going to do and what she was going to apply to improve the texture and overall look and feel of my skin. She started by taking photographs and analysing my skin with the help of a very clever machine, linked to her computer which was able to depict my skin age.....I was glad to see my skin came out slightly younger than my chronological age!! The treatment began with dermal abrasion to remove any dead skin cells, followed by two masks, finishing finally with a moisturiser.The results left my skin feeling firmer, softer and more radiant. The treatment was not only beneficial to my skin but with the tranquil music playing in the background it was totally relaxing too. Overall the perfect way to great skin in just an hour!! As a beautician I have good knowledge of skincare. My consultation began with a skin analysis using a machine which showed skin damage not visible to the eye. I was pleased to see that my regular use of sunscreen had paid off!!! I had booked in to have the Fire and Ice medical facial to resurface and rehydrate my skin. The results were beautifully soft, smooth, radiant skin. Clare was professional and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, I was made even more relaxed by the gentle background music. I did not feel pressured to buy any products and left with a goodie bag of samples to try at home. All in all a very pleasant experience and I will definitely be back!!!

Being new to this industry and the various procedures available, I can not rate Clare highly enough. She offered me facts and information based upon what I presented her with. I had always avoided approaching such services because of the horror stories and a reluctance to be greeted by over the top sales people. I don't normally write reviews but Clare McLoughlin has been a life saver! I came to see her after having a disastrous treatment at another Marlow clinic where the person bruised me badly, and worse dropped my right brow which left me looking lopsided like I'd had a stroke, I was gutted!
Lovely, lovely Clare was so knowledgeable and was able to sort me out. (I hadn't realised that Clare has been teaching wrinkle relaxing injections and skin fillers for many years).
Anyway, Clare did some advanced technique injecting and I was amazed that she was able to bring my brow back up. I would never go anywhere else now. I have had subsequent treatments with her including skin needling, further wrinkle relaxing injections and skin fillers to my lips and cheeks. I am having a peel next, and my leg veins treated this autumn. I can recommend Clare because she knows what she is doing, actually cares about you, and always makes me look and feel great without anyone knowing that I have had a treatment. When I have a treatment with Clare I come away full of confidence.
