Yes, Wegovy is safe. This medication is safe for patients who meet the criteria and have no alarming health conditions that could stop them from taking the drug. It’s our priority to ensure each of our patients is suitable for Wegovy injections.We have a specialist team who can help answer any questions you have before, during and after your treatment. Both the safety and efficacy of Wegovy have been established in multiple studies and trials –the SELECT trial showed no new safety concerns over four years. Your appointed clinician will be able to tell you whether Wegovy is appropriate for you.Note - be sure to store your weight loss medication in the correct conditions, in temperatures between 2°C and 8°C. If your Wegovy pen appears discoloured, do not use it.
