Biography & Background
Mr Vivek Kuvelker is a fully registered clinical pharmacist prescriber with over twenty-five years of professional NHS experience. He undertook postgraduate study at Keele University on several occasions, completing his independent pharmacist prescriber training there in 2016, before moving into aesthetic medicine as an extension of his clinical pharmacy background.
Since qualifying as an independent prescriber, Mr Kuvelker has completed a structured programme of aesthetics training, including foundation, advanced and masterclass-level courses in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers with Derma Medical in London, alongside practitioner training to provide the Perfect Peel treatment. This grounding allows him to offer a full range of aesthetic treatments, including non-surgical rhinoplasty, tear trough correction and jawline contouring. In 2019, he undertook further advanced lip augmentation training with Julie Horne at the Eger Skin Clinic in Oslo, Norway, and in 2022 completed a masterclass in injectable technique with Dr Tom van Eijk in Amsterdam, covering assessment-led approaches such as the Fern pattern and tenting injection techniques.
Mr Kuvelker became a member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC) in 2020, supporting his ability to identify and manage aesthetic complications safely. In 2022, he also completed facial ultrasound scanning training with Dr Leonie Schelke, covering vascular mapping, ultrasound-guided treatment planning, and the use of ultrasound to guide both routine and emergency filler dissolution.
Mr Kuvelker practises at SkinPharma Aesthetics, which he directs, based in Stockton-on-Tees and serving clients across northern England. His approach combines his NHS clinical pharmacy background with ongoing advanced aesthetics training, with particular focus on ultrasound-guided precision and safe complication management for patients.
