DermaQuest for Acne Management
Acne is one of the trickier conditions to treat but also one of the most rewarding. To effectively treat acne the skin needs to be balanced by reducing excess oil, decongesting the skin, reducing inflammation and acne-causing bacteria.
DermaClear products are targeted for acne management but there are also products in the Advanced Booster collection that would be suitable for acne skin.
DermaQuest for Ageing
Technically the skin ages from around the age of 25 when we start to see fine lines and wrinkles appear on the surface of the skin and it can start to feel drier and more dehydrated.
To ensure the signs of ageing are visibly reduced the skin needs to be hydrated, and collagen and elastin stimulated to plump the skin from within.
DermaQuest for Pigmentation
Hyperpigmentation can be caused by the environment, sun exposure and hormones. To reduce hyperpigmentation, the skin needs to be protected with a physical SPF, the pigment-producing cells need to be suppressed and any excess pigment can then be broken down so the skin tone is brightened and more even.
DermaQuest for Sensitive Skin
Sensitivity can be caused by genetics or the environment or the incorrect skincare products. To rebalance the skin the redness and irritation need to be calmed, and the skin will need to be hydrated and strengthened. See the in-depth product pages for more information: Sensitised and Essential collection.
DermaQuest for Rosacea
DermaQuest for Psoriasis
The barrier of the skin will become compromised with psoriasis resulting in dry, flaky, irritated skin. The immune system may also contribute to the development of psoriasis due to inflammation in the body. To treat psoriasis the barrier of the skin needs to be repaired, cell turnover regulated and inflammation reduced. See the in-depth guide for more information: CBD collection.
