Answer: Hi Marion,

Mole Removal is becoming a popular procedure because the NHS has reduced the amount of procedures they will carry out. Laser removal is a safe and effective procedure that is quick with fantastic results and with minimal, if any, scarring. A local anaesthetic will be administered prior to removal, making your appointment painless. We can then remove your mole quickly and accurately with our Er. Yag Laser. A small white mark is all that is usually left but a small scar may result. Generally, the area is left unmarked and clear within about two weeks.

Kind Regards,
Lauren

Answer: Hi there. I treat moles with a treatment called short wave diathermy. The mole is not removed but treated to reduce size and pigmentation until it is at the same level as the surrounding skin. A couple of treatments are usually sufficient. No scar is left. The mole must have been checked by your GP or dermatologist before treatment

Answer: Good morning Marion, thank you for your question regarding mole removal. We use a very advanced technology called plasma which sublimates the tissue safely.
We use this for the exact reason of it being one of the methods that is so precise that it is unlikely to leave any marks on the skin. I
n some rare cases, it can leave a little bit of hypopigmentation.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

Answer: Hi Marion,

Thanks for your question. It depends upon the method of removal. Cryotherapy doesn’t leave a scar. Surgical removal would . I hope this helps.

At Finesse Skin Clinic we would always recommend a face to face consultation to discuss your requirements. This is beneficial and will enable you to see the clinic and it’s clean professional treatment environment and of course to meet your practitioner.

How does this sound to you?

Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a consultation
