Answer: Thanks so much for your enquiry about skin tag and mole removal. Yes I can help.

At Finesse Skin Clinic I would always recommend a face to face consultation to discuss your requirements. This is beneficial and will enable you to see the clinic and its clean professional treatment environment and of course to meet your practitioner.

Answer: Hi Ben, yes it's possible to remove moles and skin tags using a method called electrocautery. This is a safe method of skin tag and mole removal and can be done quickly and safely. Certain types of moles may need to be checked by a doctor first to confirm that they are benign and safe to remove.

Answer: Hi Ben,

We would recommend Cryotherapy to remove unwanted moles and skin tags. It's always best to get moles checked first prior to removal. We offer a mole mapping service whereby we use a Dermascope to look at the mole first and provide a report to confirm its safe to remove. Alternatively, you can ask your GP to confirm OK to remove.

Cryotherapy involves applying liquid nitrogen to the unwanted skin lesion which scabs and gradually disappears over the course of 3 weeks revealing new skin underneath.

If you'd like book an appointment with us, you can find the details in our profile.

Kind regards,
ERA Team
