Answer: Hello Matthew, thank you for your enquiry.

Chemical peels can be part of a treatment solution for melasma and other forms of uneven pigmentation. However a medium depth peel would be sufficient to improve skin pigment. Peels containing gentle exfoliation acids as well as skin brightening agents tend to be successful at reducing excessive pigmentation. BioRePeel contains trichloroacetic acid to exfoliate, as well as kojic acid to brighten the skin. A course of peels carried out over 6 sessions would show an improvement in the pigmentation. The sessions can be carried out every 10 to 14 days. This would cost £450.

If you would like to book a consultation to discuss this further, please use the link in the TD Aesthetics profile page on the Consulting Room site.

Warm regards

Nurse Tawa

Answer: Hi Unfortunately, I do not offer any deep chemical peels due to the extended downtime. I do offer light to medium-depth peels such as retinol peel for example. The price is £150 per peel and you would require a course of 3-6 every 6 weeks. I also start my patient on pigment suppression ingredients/skincare before they have their peels to reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Please book a consultation to discuss your skin further.
