“I really like swimming, but after my transplant I was very self-conscious about my scars. They were big, white and ran across the width of my head and when my hair was wet they were really obvious. “I have been suffering from male pattern baldness for almost 20 years and have been wearing my hair in a short cropped style since my mid-20’s. About 6 months ago I went to Holland to have an FUE transplant surgery where I had about 2,500 grafts split between my crown and front hairline. After 4 months I started to see a number of grafts coming through at my hairline but the crown was looking a little sparse. I was disappointed even though I understood that it would take about 12 months to see the full results of my surgery. I saw another surgeon in London who informed me that I should have probably had more grafts and would need to wait another 12 months until I could have an additional surgery to add more density. Having started this journey I was impatient to have immediate results, so I looked into scalp micro-pigmentation to give me the coverage I wanted whilst waiting for further surgery. It has been 2 months since I had HPT® with HAIR ink. and am so happy with the results. Even after the first treatment session I could see a massive difference and my shaven head, especially in the areas of the FUE treatment, looked far thicker. Now the treatment is complete the look is fantastic and I have had so many positive compliments. “I had FUT surgery a few years back and was really pleased with the results of my transplant, but not with the big scar it left which looked like my head had been cut in half. If I had my hair short people would ask me what happened to your head? This was always embarrassing and made me feel very awkward and self-conscious. I tried cover up products to disguise the scar but I couldn't really get it even at the back so I looked into what else I could do. A friend of mine had scalp micro-pigmentation with HAIR ink. and I was really impressed with his results. I booked in with them for a scar camouflage treatment and liked their approach during my consultation. They understood exactly how frustrating it is to waste a lot of money on things that don’t really work. They were really informative and made me fully aware that this type of procedure for scars can be unpredictable. I never felt under any pressure to book with them me which is why I felt confident that they would do a good job for me a I'd already seen the quality of their work. I am really happy with the results of my treatment. When my hair is short the scar is far less visible and when it’s longer it’s not really noticeable at all. Keep up the good work.
