There are a number of cosmetic procedures available to alter the appearance of both male and female genitals.

Sometimes referred to as a `Designer Vagina` makeover, for women this can involve procedures to correct issues within the vagina arising from natural childbirth which may cause problems with urination or sexual satisfaction, to reshape and contour the outer areas of the vagina which may also be causing pain and discomfort in daily life and so called `revirgination` procedures involving reconstruction of the hymen for religious or cultural reasons.

For men, procedures involve the increasing of the length and/or girth of the penis for improved self-esteem and sexual satisfaction.
