Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers
“Porcelain veneers are essentially ‘covers’ for your tooth made out of porcelain which is renowned for its durability and strength. The veneers are made in a lab by highly trained technicians, under the direction of a dentist.

Someone might choose to have porcelain veneers to help amend small gaps in the teeth, as well as altering the shape and colour. In some cases they can be used to address overlapping or uneven teeth, helping to create a more even, symmetrical and photogenic smile. I personally have a special interest in porcelain veneers as I can see how transformative they can be on a patient’s mental well-being. Creating a smile using porcelain veneers is an art and something that I really enjoy perfecting for my patients.”
Composite Bonding

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a minimally-invasive cosmetic treatment that helps to improve the overall shape of your smile. If you have teeth that are uneven or chipped, or teeth that need lengthening, then composite bonding is a fantastic option.

The actual bonding is made of a composite resin material and it is very effective as being able to mimic the surface and shade of natural teeth. It is applied to the tooth then shaped and cured under light. Again, it takes real art to create natural-looking composite bonding so be sure you’re going to a dentist that has a real skill in this area.”

Invisalign
“Gone are the days when a very obvious brace would be needed to correct teeth. Nowadays we have Invisalign which is a type of clear aligner that fits over the top of your teeth.

You wear them for a set amount of time each day (usually around 22 hours) and only take them out to eat/drink anything beyond water. They are easy to remove and clean and don’t require you to visit the dentist for broken wires. Invisalign is also pretty much undetectable unless you’re really looking and for that reason, many people find them a great option for confidence reasons.”
