Electrolysis is an excellent alternative to laser treatment which can be ineffective at treating white, grey or blonde hair because of its lack of pigment.

It works by inserting a very fine needle into the hair follicle which then passes a small amount of energy into the base of the hair follicle destroying the cells that nourish the hair. Without this nourishment the hair can then be easily released from the follicle. As each hair is treated individually Electrolysis is only really suitable for smaller areas of unwanted hair such as the chin or upper lip.

Electrolysis is an affordable procedure that is very effective if carried out correctly. A course of treatment will be needed.

Answer: Hello Valerie, we offer Electrolysis here at Nakedhealth. We would usually recommend you come for a consultation to discuss if this would be a suitable treatment for you. If suitable you can have treatment the same day and you would usually be advised to start with a 15 minute appointment but the therapist would need to see you to decide.
