Question: Is it safe and effective?

Hi, I'm South African, here the woman are using Dermafil tablets as well as diy Dermafil injections to shape, enhance their buttocks. It's also in green and white containers. I would like to know how safe, effective both are?

Answer: Hello,

I would not recommend DIY or self-adminisration of any dermal filler, as the risks are so great, including infiltrating a blood vessel, skin infection, and severe bruising or bleeding, as well as a poor aesthetic outcome.

I have not heard of the product you mention, and oral tablets would not support increased volume or shape in the buttocks, as the digestive system would very likely break down the tablets before they could have any impact.

If you are interested in improving the shape and size of your buttocks, I strongly recommend that you contact a licensed and registered cosmetic surgeon who specialises in the "butt lift" procedure. This is a very high risk part of the body due to the complicated anatomy, nerve fibres, blood vessels, and the risk of developing blood clots which could cause damage elsewhere in the body.

Please do your research to find the most qualified surgeon.

Alternatively, you can improve the shape of your buttocks through exercises targeting the gluteal muscles.

Answer: Hi
Thank you for reaching out
I am not trained or do I encourage any clients of mine to get injections in their buttocks
There are may incidences of procedures going wrong to the detriment of the patient

So although I am not trained in BBL - and choose not to train as its so dangerous - I would advise you against it - please ask advise from a Consultant (Doctor) trained in BBL to discuss this further with you

kind regards
Sarah
