Dr Anna Hemming

Answer: Hello Marlena,

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding mole removal.
Most facial lesions are removed using a treatment called plasma BT (a treatment performed under local anaesthetic) this is the most common way we remove skin lesions.

We need to see you first for a consultation with Dr Anna to assess the lesions, diagnose them and ensure they are safe to remove. If suitable treatment can be performed on the same day, straight after assessment. The consultation fee is £195, which is payable at the time of the booking over the phone or via a payment link. Mole removal costs depend on the number of moles treated and starts at £295 including aftercare for one mole. £460 for two. This includes local anaesthetic treatment, removal and review 6-8 weeks after treatment. Please, bare in mind that I won't be able to reply to you on this thread again, if you would like to book in please contact us or email us (our contact details can be found on our clinic profile)

Do let me know when would suit you best for assessment, diagnosis and if you are comfortable to proceed to removal.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,
Lavinia

Dr Fatima Ahmed

Answer: Thank you for your email enquiry.

We are an advanced skin care clinic where we specialise in lesion and mole removal. Our Doctor Fatima Ahmed who specialises in dermatology would see you for a consultation first, during which she will thoroughly assess the mole, offer a test patch with the laser used and give you advice regarding removal. It may be necessary to offer a biopsy if there is any concern regarding a mole before removal, always ensuring your safety is our priority. This is a service we offer in the clinic. The sample is then sent to the Nuffield Hospital for a full histopathology report.

Mole Removal is becoming a popular procedure because the NHS has reduced the amount of procedures they will carry out. Laser removal is a safe and effective procedure that is quick with fantastic results and with minimal, if any, scarring. A local anaesthetic will be administered prior to removal, making your appointment painless. We can then remove your mole quickly and accurately with our Er. Yag Laser. A small white mark is all that is usually left but a small scar may result. Generally, the area is left unmarked and clear within about two weeks.

The costs are as follows:
Consultation: £175.00 (£35 deposit payable upon booking)
For more than 3 moles this will be a charge of £200 for the consultation
Consultation under 18 £120.00 (£35 deposit payable upon booking)
Biopsy (if needed): from £250
Removal: from £350
Please note that a personal quote will be given to you at consultation.

Dr Fatima’s working hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am – 4:30pm

If you have any further questions or would like to book in your consultation, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to help.

Alternatively, you’re able to book online at your convenience (our contact details can be found on our clinic profile)

I look forward to hearing from you.

Answer: Hi Marlena,

We are able to remove moles in this area. You and your daughter are welcome to clinic for a consultation to check on the location of the mole and discuss removal. We do ask that you speak to a GP prior to arranging an appointment with The Secret Garden for mole removal, just to have the mole checked and for the GP to agree that removing the mole is ok and won't need to undergo further testing.

Thank you
