The Anatomy & Injection Experience by Cotofana Anatomy in collaboration with BAMAN takes place on 21–22 November 2026 at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Led by Professor Sebastian Cotofana, internationally recognised facial anatomist, the event provides doctors, dentists and nurses with advanced anatomy education through live demonstrations and hands-on cadaveric training.
A unique opportunity for medical professionals to learn from one of the world’s leading authorities in applied facial anatomy is coming to Edinburgh this November.
The Anatomy & Injection Experience by Cotofana Anatomy, in collaboration with the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN), will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026 at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
This immersive educational programme has been designed for doctors, dentists and nurses seeking to deepen their understanding of facial anatomy and its relationship with safe injectable practice.
Combining advanced anatomical teaching, live injection demonstrations and hands-on cadaveric dissection, the two-day experience provides delegates with a rare opportunity to learn directly from internationally renowned anatomist Professor Sebastian Cotofana and his expert faculty.
As aesthetic medicine continues to evolve, a detailed understanding of facial anatomy remains fundamental to safe and effective treatment.
The Anatomy & Injection Experience bridges the gap between anatomical theory and clinical application, allowing practitioners to explore the structures beneath the skin and understand how anatomy influences treatment decisions, injection technique and complication prevention.
The programme can be attended as either a one-day or two-day experience, allowing delegates to tailor their learning according to their individual educational needs.
The first day offers an auditorium-based educational experience featuring live cadaveric dissection alongside real-time injection demonstrations performed by Professor Sebastian Cotofana.
This unique format enables delegates to observe facial anatomy beneath the skin while simultaneously understanding how anatomical structures directly influence injectable techniques.
Throughout the day, Professor Cotofana and his faculty will provide live commentary and expert insight covering:
By combining dissection with injection demonstrations, delegates gain a deeper appreciation of how anatomical knowledge translates into everyday clinical practice.
Delegates attending the full two-day programme will have access to an exclusive hands-on cadaveric dissection experience led by Professor Cotofana and his expert faculty.
Designed for practitioners seeking advanced anatomical knowledge and increased clinical confidence, the masterclass provides an intimate learning environment with a 5:1 delegate-to-faculty ratio.
The Advanced Cadaver Masterclass includes:
