Scottish Aesthetic Conference: Speaker Highlight Dr. Lonny Green

Scottish Aesthetic Conference
By Scottish Aesthetic Conference

The Scottish Aesthetic Conference is for all medical aesthetic practitioners as well as those looking to start in the medical aesthetics industry.

Dr Lonny Green, a renowned aesthetic injector and speaker, is set provide a keynote at the Scottish Aesthetic Conference on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Hilton Glasgow and a masterclass the next day. After a distinguished career in surgery, Lonny founded a multimillion-dollar medical spa and has since become a prominent figure in the aesthetic industry in the USA. We had the opportunity to ask Lonny a few questions about his journey in aesthetics and what attendees can expect:

Can You Share A Bit About Your Background And What Led You To Pursue A Career In Medical Aesthetics?

Dr Lonny Green: Absolutely! I hold a Bachelor of Science from Stanford and an MD from UCLA. After completing two years of general surgery, I specialised in urology at Harvard Medical School. For over 20 years, I practised as a urology surgeon. It was actually a chance encounter that opened my eyes to the world of aesthetics, and I’ve never looked back! I thought this was cool stuff and a fire was lit. I feel incredibly blessed to do what I love every day!

Today, I am the Medical Director and owner & medical director of Rêvée Aesthetics, Virginia, USA, where I work as a full-time injector.  I specialise in complete facial assessment and balancing with an emphasis on a natural look. I am on the speaker’s bureau for many pharmaceutical companies and am currently a National Allergan Medical Institute trainer. I founded Rêvée Academy, an institution devoted to education and advancement of the Aesthetic Industry. Teaching isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am.

What’s Your Perspective of Medical Aesthetic Industry?

Dr Lonny Green: I think it’s extremely exciting and has pitfalls too!

For those of you willing to see the opportunities, the sky is the limit. If it’s generally your passion, you’re going to do great, but it’s going to be a lot of hard work, too.

You Manage a Team Of 15 People in Your Practice. What’s Your Top Tip for Creating a First-Class Aesthetic Team?

Dr Lonny Green: Team lunches are the best money you will ever spend & how to uncover your “why” and your “just cause”.

Working alongside an extraordinary team, serving incredible patients and knowing we are building something that truly matters is what’s important to me.

What Are Your Views on Social Media?

Ok, so before I started out, I didn’t know so much about social media if I am honest, but I knew to grow a business, social media was going to be important & selecting the right platform for you is crucial. For us, that means focusing on Instagram. Mastering one platform before branching out to others can set you on the right path.

When my team are filming videos for social media, they sometimes hesitate to shoot in the clinic rooms because the room may not be ready, for example. However, authenticity is vital; being true to ourselves is what has driven our success. There's an overwhelming amount of content that focuses on self-promotion—on showcasing how great we are. Instead, we should concentrate on highlighting patient results, understanding their needs, and providing valuable education.

Tell Us About What You Will Be Speaking at The Scottish Aesthetic Conference and Your Masterclass

Sure, I’m really looking forward to coming to Scotland. I’ve got two exciting presentations planned.

First up is “The Forehead Four-Step.” I’ll be diving into a systematic, anatomy-based approach for forehead contouring, breaking it down into four key steps: marking the safe zone, positioning on bone, injection techniques, and shaping. I’ll also cover vascular mapping, plane selection, and some conservative strategies to keep risks low while getting amazing results.

Then, I’ll tackle “Lower Face Rejuvenation: A Structural Approach to Facial Balance,” addressing marionette lines, jowling, and jawline definition using an anatomy-focused approach. I’ll demonstrate tissue release techniques, product selection by layer, and how to achieve natural-looking results.

And on Sunday, March 22nd, Glasgow I’m super excited to host a full-day masterclass called “Transform” – a Facial Balancing Masterclass. This is an exclusive chance for some hands-on instruction in a small group. By the end of the day, you’ll feel empowered to assess any face with confidence, know exactly where to start, and create a treatment strategy that your patients will trust and love. Can’t wait to see you there! Space is limited, as I want to keep this interactive and personal for attendees so book in early.

Looking forward to seeing you in Glasgow in March!!!
