Invitation to Join UK ESG & Sustainability Focus Groups

The medical aesthetics sector in the UK is evolving rapidly, and with that evolution comes a growing responsibility to understand and embed meaningful Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Business Sustainability practices.

Simon Haroutunian, Founder and Director of SHine Medical Consulting Ltd, has recently dedicated two years of study, completing the Diploma in ESG and Business Sustainability through the Institute of Sustainability Studies. This programme has given SHine Medical Consulting a deep appreciation of how sustainability frameworks can strengthen clinics, associations, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers across our industry — not only environmentally, but operationally and commercially across our supply chains.

As part of the ongoing work in this space, SHine Medical Consulting are launching two dedicated ESG & Sustainability Focus Groups to gather real-world insights from those working at the heart of medical aesthetics.

The first group is for clinicians and clinic owners, whose day-to-day experiences offer invaluable perspective on the practical challenges and opportunities surrounding sustainability in clinical environments.

The second group is for distributors, suppliers and manufacturers, whose decisions around packaging, logistics, product development, workforce, corporate responsibility, and supply chain management shape the wider environmental footprint of the sector.

These focus groups aim to create an open, constructive dialogue about where we stand today and — importantly — what actions the industry believes should be prioritised over the coming years. We are particularly keen to hear honest reflections on current sustainability efforts, barriers to progress, and the types of support or collaboration that would make a meaningful difference.
