I had a conversation with one of my coaching clients this week about a difficult situation they were managing with a member of staff.

Like many clinic owners, they were trying to do the right thing: follow the correct process, protect the business, be fair to the individual and avoid making a difficult situation worse.

But it also raised a bigger question for me.

In small clinics, staff problems are rarely just HR problems. They are leadership problems, culture problems, patient experience problems and, often, very human problems.

That led me to think about whether AI could be used as a kind of HR companion for clinic owners.

Not as a replacement for proper HR or employment law advice, but as a tool to help you slow down, separate facts from assumptions, prepare for difficult conversations and recognise when you need professional support.

So this week's video looks at a simple idea:

Human first. Procedurally safe. Can AI help with difficult staff conversations
