Brain Works Therapy is a private mental health practice. That uses modern therapeutic interventions and training based in neuroscience.

Nicola Noel, a renowned Specialist Psychiatric Nurse with over two decades of frontline experience, is expanding her business, Brainworks Therapy's, by offering support services to aesthetic clinic owners and practitioners. This new initiative aims to empower professionals in the aesthetics industry by addressing their mental health challenges and building resilience to thrive in their demanding roles.

The demands of the aesthetics industry necessitate not only technical expertise but also robust mental health management, and Nicola, intends to leverage her background in Specialist Psychiatric Nursing, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, and Mindset Coaching, to help practitioners navigate stress, burnout, and other mental health challenges effectively.

She says, "I recognise the unique pressures faced by aesthetics practitioners and while they might look great, sometimes the job takes a toll on them, and that needs to change. My aim is to equip them with the tools needed to prioritise mental wellbeing, enhance resilience, and excel in their demanding roles."

Nicola Noel actively engages with the community through initiatives like monthly Coffee and Chats, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma. Her advocacy extends to media platforms, including appearances on BBC Hereford and Worcestershire Breakfast Show,  UK Health Radio, local and national papers, where she shares valuable insights on mental health.

“A collaboration with Brainworks Therapy is essential within the aesthetic industry to ensure that practitioners maintain peak performance, handle client interactions effectively, and foster a positive workplace environment, ultimately enhancing overall business success. I feel it is crucial for ensuring comprehensive patient and staff well-being, as it addresses the psychological aspects of self-image and self-esteem, supports emotional health during treatments, and promotes a healthier, more supportive workplace environment for practitioners.”
