Aesthetic/Laser Skin Therapist

Full Time - 4 days / 40 hours per week

We are looking for NVQ Level 4 / 5 Laser Skin therapists with a minimum of five years of laser skin treatment experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience with lasers, radio frequency, ultrasound, micro-needling, HIFU, advanced skin peels and advanced skincare experience. You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and retain a high-end clientele, by providing excellent service and maintaining a professional attitude. Training and certification are provided for all equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Treatments

To carry out high-quality, effective facial treatments, in line with the clinic’s designated protocols. Treatments must only be provided where qualification and/or training is in place, along with adequate insurance cover and approval from the Debbie Thomas team.

To carry out skin consultations with prospective clients to determine individual needs and to make recommendations on appropriate treatments and products.

To deliver exceptional customer care and develop a professional rapport with clients, ensuring that they are confident and satisfied with their treatments.

To promote and recommend products and services, maximising opportunities for sales and referrals.

Compliance

To ensure all clinic procedures and data protection requirements are followed in relation to client records prior to, during and after appointments, including completion of medical history, consent forms and treatment notes.

To maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times in relation to clients.

To maintain working areas and equipment in accordance with health, safety, hygiene and general housekeeping standards at all times.

To keep the treatment rooms stocked appropriately with all the products needed for treatment.

To report immediately to the Manager, any client complaint or incident and to keep detailed written notes of the incident.

General

To assist with other clinic duties as required, including supporting other team members.

To keep levels of professional stock both in the treatment rooms and the stockroom as the required level in accordance with company procedures.

To work with the front desk when required in relation to any retail stock orders or enquiries.

To work with the front desk when required in relation to any client feedback or client enquiry.

Participate in company training programs to develop skills and knowledge offering a variation of services as needed.

Requirements

  • A passion for skincare and aesthetics with good working knowledge of the beauty/aesthetic industry
  • NVQ Beauty Level 4 minimum, preferably Level 5
  • Laser Skin Treatments - 5 years required
  • Experience in lasers treating skin concerns (preferably Fotona, Duo Yellow laser, AdvaTX, Lynton Again, Lynton Moveo, M22 Lumenis, Lutronic MD Ultra ), radio frequency, ultrasound (HIFU/Lynton), micro-needling and advanced skin treatments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a busy environment
  • Confidence to recommend products and treatments effectively
  • A polished appearance and professional manner
  • Excellent teamwork ethic

  • Successful consultation conversion
  • Successful individual sales targets for both retail and services

Package Benefits

  • £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum plus discretionary bonus scheme for commission on treatments and retail
