Mr Vivek Kuvelker is a fully registered clinical pharmacist prescriber and Director of SkinPharma Aesthetics, based in Stockton-on-Tees, with over 25 years of professional NHS experience.
He completed his independent pharmacist prescriber training at Keele University in 2016 and subsequently developed his career in aesthetic medicine, undertaking extensive foundation, advanced and masterclass-level training in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. His training has included advanced lip augmentation and injectable techniques with internationally recognised aesthetic experts, including Julie Horne at the Eger Skin Clinic in Oslo and Dr Tom van Eijk at his academy in Amsterdam.
Mr Kuvelker provides a broad range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, with particular expertise in advanced lip augmentation, non-surgical rhinoplasty, tear trough treatments and jawline contouring. He has a specialist interest in creating natural-looking lip results and is one of a limited number of advanced lip augmentation specialists in the UK trained by Julie Horne.
Patient safety and the management of aesthetic complications are central to Mr Kuvelker's practice. He became a member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC) in 2020, supporting his ongoing knowledge and expertise in identifying and managing complications associated with aesthetic treatments.
In 2022, Mr Kuvelker undertook specialist facial ultrasound training with Dr Leonie Schelke, focusing on vascular mapping, ultrasound-guided treatment planning and the use of ultrasound to guide injections. His training also covered the use of ultrasound to support both elective and emergency filler dissolution, further strengthening his focus on precision and safety in aesthetic medicine.
Through SkinPharma Aesthetics, Mr Kuvelker combines his extensive clinical pharmacy background with advanced aesthetic training and a strong focus on patient assessment, treatment safety, ultrasound-guided precision and effective complication management.
