18/12/2018 | Lorna | Becky spoke to the operator, Andy. He is unable to register with the CQC as he provides a brokerage service and passes on leads to the surgeons who are private practitioners operating out of CQC registered premises. Satisfied that this is compliant.
18/12/2018 | Lorna | Have received a query from BAHRS as although this business is operating the surgeries from CQC registered premises, Greg Williams at BAHRS has advised they ought to be CQC registered themselves as a service provider. Have asked Becky to go back to them to discuss and to recommend that they seek guidance and advice from the CQC on it. We need to follow this up, but I am prepared to leave the listings for now as they have attempted to comply with regulation and until we get further clarification we can take that on face value.
