No Accreditations?

If the clinic does not offer medical or surgical treatments, click "no accreditations" and save.

Note: This will override the tick boxes below.

Notes

If a clinic is providing a botulinum toxin/Botox treatment service, this is a prescription-only medicine which can only be provided by a prescriber (doctor, dentist, independent nurse prescriber - NIP/INP or pharmacist independent prescriber) or another person such as a nurse, under direction from a prescriber who has carried out a face-to-face consultation with the patient. We therefore require the GMC/GDC/NMC number and name of the prescriber for this service to list it. This person can be included in the staff section, along with their regulator number. If they cannot provide details of a prescriber then this is to be regarded as suspicious and be flagged.

If a clinic is providing cosmetic surgery, hair transplantation, dental treatments including teeth whitening, prescribed slimming medication, treatment for a disease or disorder, such as minor surgical procedures, or some laser treatments then they are often required to be registered with a national regulator, such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and differing organisations for Wales (Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), Northern Ireland (RQIA), Ireland (http://www.dentalcouncil.ie/ or http://www.medicalcouncil.ie/) and Scotland Health Improvement Scotland (HIS). We need to get the certification number. Use the relevant website to verify the number unless other proof is supplied by the clinic which proves it.

Threads - If a clinic is offering Thread Lift they must be registered with the CQC if in England (Does not apply to Scotland, Wales, Ireland, N.Ireland or the channel Islands). If cannot find it on the CQC, ensure that you clarify with the clinic that they are CQC registered.

For medical clinics, add the leading staff Member into the staff section. At minimal add their first and last names, job titles, organisation and reg number.
