My top tips
First and foremost, sleep is important, not only for your appearance but also for your general health and well-being. While it’s not usually the sole culprit behind your tired-looking eyes, you should always make an effort to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep each night. It boosts your mood, your productivity, and your immune system.
When you are sleeping, keeping your head elevated can prevent puffiness In your lower eyelids. If your head isn’t elevated enough, fluid begins to pool and leaves you looking a bit groggy in the morning.
If dilated blood vessels seem to be the source of your problems, try to constrict the vessels with a cold compress or something similar. It pays to think about exactly why your blood vessels are dilating, too. In some cases, allergies are to blame, so getting those under control can be a big help. Never be tempted to rub your eyes as this can damage the blood vessels and cause swelling, not to mention the impact it can have on your eyesight and general eye health.
