I phoned to see if about the prices for IPL for my back and shoulders . The person who answered the phone could only quote me individual session prices. When asked for details about the sessions and how many session is generally required, all her response is that I would have to come in and talk to someone. When trying a little harder to get more information all she could say was that I should come in and talk to someone. The more I spoke, the more defensive she got and just wanted me off the phone. What is the point in having someone answer the phone who can't talk about the products their business is selling?

Here at the Christine Clarke Clinic we greatly value our clients and pride ourselves on our business and client handling skills. In our opinion all the questions posed during the telephone conversation with this gentleman were answered both professionally and correctly, as was the advice given. Treatment prices given over the telephone are only guideline prices and although courses are always available, these are often tailored to the needs of the individual at the time of the consultation, so specific or absolute prices cannot be given prior to consultation. Our receptionist was quite correct not to divulge information regarding the number of treatments received by other clients, which was requested by the gentleman, as this varies due to many factors. She was also correct to state that both the consultation and a patch test is compulsory prior to commencing treatment. When informed of this the gentleman was quite dismissive, stating that a patch test wasn’t necessary as he had already had one. Unfortunately, as we cannot validate the patch test done by another clinic, using potentially differing devices and treatment settings, we cannot use the knowledge of a past patch test as a reason to commence treatment; we must perform our own patch test to ensure patient safety prior to treatment. Sadly, I feel that the manner in which my receptionist was addressed was both abrupt and unpleasant and totally unnecessary. The gentleman was offered a free consultation to discuss patient specific treatment options and prices but declined to accept.

I was recommended by a family member to try laser treatment at this clinic for some broken veins on my face and I'm so glad I did as it was successful and boosted my confidence. I have mobility problems and was treated with utmost care & dignity....(which sadly is not always the case in some establishments). I can't recommend this clinic highly enough, the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and I benefited from the experience.

I recently had laser treatment on my face for red veins and can highly recommend this clinic. They are friendly, polite and very professional and knowledgeable. The procedure was fully explained to me so I felt relaxed about the treatment and I was given plenty of information about aftercare. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. The results are marvellous.

I recently bought a Groupon voucher for this clinic for my sister as a birthday present. The deal was clearly for 6 IPL sessions on three areas worth 1320 for 109. When I rang up to book an appointment for her I was told that the consultation was counted as part of the six sessions. When I queried this, I was told that the consultation would include a test patch but they could do a "larger test patch" to make it into a session - surely this negates the test patch and I would say akin to negligence if anything went wrong in this "large test patch" area. I was also told that the 6 sessions on three areas I had paid for was actually only 2 sessions on each area because "your wouldn''t get 18 sessions for 109" . The point is i might have paid 109 but the value of the voucher is 1320. They completely missed the point. I was then cheerily told that a half leg (which my sister said she wanted) would count as 2 separate sessions (front and back), so that effectively used up 4 sessions on one leg. Now she only has 1 session left (discounting the consultation and one leg). What on earth is se supposed to do with one session? Thw clinic completely mislead epople who have bought this deal and they turned what I thought would be a nice 25th birthday present for my sister into a feeling of being ripped-off. I am now in the process of trying to get a refund, on top of which I now have to ook for a new present for my sister. I would avoid this saon at all costs. I cannot comment on the services they offer or the effectiveness of the treatment but judging by how willing they are to mislead you, just avoid it and save yourself a lot of hassle.

I went to have some hair removal done using IPL techniques. My mum bought me a voucher. When I rang up I was told that a consulation is one session (i got a voucher for 6 sessions) so that was one session gone even though i didn't have any treatment. When i arrived I was told I couldn't have a whole half leg, I could only have front or back and to have the whole half leg I would have to pay more! This is not what the voucher said, COmpletely un flexible and I was really unhappy with service and treatment. I will not be going back.
