As one of Londons few female plastic surgeons and mother of two young boys, Ms Kavouni has developed an interest in all facets of female surgery but most markedly in the area of cosmetic solutions post pregnancy including breast enhancement, liposculpture, labiaplasty, abdominoplasty and body contouring. Other fields of interest are minimal access facial surgery and skin rejuvenation such as Short Scar Face Lifts, Contour Thread Lifts, fillers and chemical peels. Background Ms Angelica Kavouni MD FRCS Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon graduated from the medical school of Thessaloniki, Greece and continued postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol Medical Schoolon a scholarship from the Erasmus European Institute. Ms Kavouni completed her doctoral thesis (MD) on growth hormone and wound healing at the University of Thessaloniki. Ms Kavouni trained in Plastic Surgery in London NHS Hospitals; following her certification by the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Angelica specialised in Cosmetic Surgery as a fellow at London`s Institute of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Ms Kavouni then spent two more years working as an associate cosmetic surgeon to Mr Jan Stanek, in his busy London practice. Angelica is on the General Medical Council specialist register in Plastic Surgery. Ms Angelica Kavouni is one of a few female plastic surgeons and her private practice is based in Harley Street. She also enjoys a locum Consultant commitment at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London. Personal Ms Kavouni is married to a fellow Plastic Surgeon, is the busy mother of two small boys, but manages to find the time to enjoy tennis, winter and summer skiing and actively supports the WRVS amongst other charities Her qualifications include: Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England(FRCS), Fellowship of the European Boards in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Membership of the Hellenic and International Federation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). Membership of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery(ASAPS) international candidate program She attends courses and seminars regularly and publishes on cosmetic surgery topics in medical journals.
