<p> Alkaline wash is comprised of an alkaline powder which is mixed into a paste and then applied onto the skin where there is hair to be treated. </p><p>The treatment essentially works by dissolving part of the underlying hair follicle which causes the release of the hair. This action leaves you with smooth, hair free skin immediately following treatment. Repeat treatments may well be required though to achieve a long term reduction in the hair in the treated area.</p>
