Refrain From Hair Removal Methods That Extract the Hair From the Root
Avoid plucking, waxing, or using depilatory creams on the treated area between sessions.
Shaving is the only preferred method to remove hair before and during laser hair removal treatments.
Soprano Laser Hair Removal targets hair follicles, and removing hair through these methods can interfere with the treatment's efficacy.
Gentle Cleansing
Use a gentle cleanser to wash the treated area, avoiding any harsh or abrasive products.
Pat the skin dry with a clean, soft towel rather than rubbing it.
Moisturise Regularly
Keep the treated area moisturised to help soothe the skin and maintain its suppleness.
Choose a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturiser recommended by the practitioner.
Avoid Hot Baths and Saunas
Refrain from hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense physical activities for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
Heat can exacerbate skin sensitivity and may cause discomfort.
Avoid Scratching or Picking
It is essential to avoid scratching or picking at the treated area to prevent potential infection or irritation.
The skin may be more sensitive immediately after the procedure.
Use Cold Compresses
If there is any mild swelling or discomfort, applying a cold compress to the treated area can provide relief.
Be Patient with Results
It is normal for the hair in the treated area to appear unchanged for the first week or two post-treatment.
Hair shedding will occur gradually over the following weeks as the damaged hair follicles release the treated hair.
