Edit Can toasted skin syndrome occur on the face?

It is uncommon on the face but not impossible. Facial presentations have been documented in people who regularly hold heat packs or warm compresses against their face for pain relief — for example, to manage jaw pain, sinusitis, or headaches. The face is not a typical site because most heat sources that cause the condition are applied to the torso, limbs, or back. If an unusual reticulated pattern appears on the face in the context of regular localised heat use, it is worth raising with a GP or dermatologist for assessment.
